The Fixed APY

APY is the acronym for Annual Percentage Yield. This measures the real rate of return on your principal token amount by taking into account the effect of compound interest. In the case of Oilz.finance, your $OILZ tokens represent your principal, the compound interest is added periodically on each Epoch (every 15 minutes). Your new principal amount is your then current OILZ token amount, plus your new rebase token amount. This total amount is what gets calculated for your next rebase rewards.
The interesting fact about APY is that your balance will grow over time! For example, with the compound interest of 0,0243%, if you start your balance of one OILZ token on the day one, your balance will be 0,0243% OILZ tokens.

Insurance Fund Valuation — Risk Free Value (RFV)

Risk-Free Value (RFV) is a separate wallet in the Oilz system. Finance plays an important role in the operation of Oilz AutoStake. This wallet raises funds to support and stabilize the liquidity pool, preventing a sharp selloff that might drain the liquidity pool and lead to an extreme drop in the price of the $OILZ token.

RVF uses an algorithm that supports Rebase Rewards and is backed by a portion of the trading fees collected in the RVF wallet: Simply put, rebase rewards distributed every 15 minutes at a rate of 0.0243% supported by RFV parameters to ensure high and stable interest rates for holders $OILZ tokens.

4% of all trading fees are held in the RFV which underpins and supports the betting rewards provided by positive rebase.
